Service Procedures

After arriving at the workshop our technicians carefully inspect each timepiece at which time it is photographed and cataloged in our computer before any work is performed. Every timepiece that has been scheduled for a complete overhaul is completely disassembled and the parts are inspected for wear and replaced as required. The next step is to immerse the parts in an ultrasonic cleaning machine that contains specialized chemicals that emulsify all the old lubrication and other contaminants.

After the parts are thoroughly washed and dried the all important process of assembly begins. The movement is assembled and the proper amount and type of lubrication is placed at the appropriate points.

The movement is then adjusted and timed. The next to last step of the process is the testing of the movement for at least one week, longer if necessary.

The final step in the process is to place the movement back in its case and make any necessary adjustments.

It is only after testing and aesthetic inspection that the timepiece is returned to the customer.

When it comes to watch cases and bands, each is thoroughly cleaned and polished to its original luster and finish.

We attempt to replicate the original finish of the case and band as close as possible to the original. We also offer dial restoration services as required.
